Honolulu Festival...

The boys wanted to go to Waikiki to watch the Honolulu Festival parade and festivities. I stuffed them into our old baby stroller and pushed them from our home in Pawa`a to Waikiki. It was quite a haul but I didn't want to fight the traffic backed up due to the streets being blocked off by the parade route. It was really worth the effort and the first big parade the boys ever witnessed. It is a growing event with many participants from around the Pacific Rim. There are many participants from Japan who dance hula. Literally dancing in the street on Kalakaua Avenue. It is nice to see the Aloha spirit spreading around the world. The event is filled with music, dance, fun, culture, love and Aloha. Bringing people and countries together, in the spirit of sharing, to help unite the world...
