Memorable...

I used to think that Life's most memorable moments were the large and grandiose events. The major turning points. Major life changes. Major decisions and crossroads. Births. Deaths. Marriages. Relationships. Jobs. Careers. Awards. Recognitions. Milestones that many of us measure the success or set-backs, and sometimes seemingly failures, of our Life against.

I have come to realize that the most memorable events, and most treasured, are actually the little occurrences, often the benign, the seemingly mundane, but all of which have one thing in common. A moment of shared Love and Humanity. Bonding. Emotion. A Sharing and Connection of Spirit. Not just Hearing, but Truly Listening. Affirmations. A good Laugh.  A good Cry. A warm Hug. A soft Kiss. Expressions of Love. Simply watching the Natural World with silent Awe and Wonderment.  Looking not at people and appearances, but at Souls and Depth.

I am making it a point now in Life to pursue the small things. The truly Meaningful. The Memorable. The Healing. So at the end when I look back, my Life will be filled with all of the Memories that make this World, and my Life, so Crazy Insanely Unbelievably Beautiful...
