Huaka'i Pō...

Forged...

I was thinking about Life today. About those who seemingly have the easy life. And those who struggle through so much Heartache and hardship. I truly Believe that suffering produces the most intense Soul lessons and growth. I think about the Katana, the Samurai Sword.

There is a Katana in our 'ohana that has been passed down through generations in Japan. In the making of the legendary renown swords, the iron bearing river sand and charcoal are heated in the furnace for days and nights. Then the sword steel is heated, pounded and folded. Over and over again to remove the impurities and strengthen the sword. A long tedious artful and masterful process handed down for centuries.

I see us very much akin to the Katana. Some of us get Hammered.  Daily. Not just Physically. Hammered Mentally. Hammered Emotionally. Hammered Spiritually. Some of us even get folded over and over again. Until we feel like we can't get back up. Or go on.

But the Beauty is that our Souls become Pure and Strong again. For having experienced the Furnace of Life. The Katana is never allowed to become molten in the process. Just as we are never allowed to melt either. Just enough to achieve the end results.

A Powerful Pure Sword. Not to take Life. Not to punish. Not to execute. Not to wage war. But to Protect the Innocent. Stand up for Justice. Equity. Peace. Love. Humanity. Life...

Love...

I once remember seeing a Beautiful pair of Cardinals outside of my workplace. I would see them fluttering about and flying down to the sidewalk, and sometimes the road, and back up to their tree. One day, I saw one of the Cardinals dead on the road. Hit by a car.

The other Cardinal was flying frantically back and forth to the dead mate, hopping around her, and then flying away as vehicles sped by. I thought about moving the dead bird out of the roadway, but decided against it because I was in a rush to a meeting. I also didn't want to stress out the other bird anymore and interfere with Nature. In my Heart, I knew what the outcome of the day would be and tried not to dwell upon it.

As I returned to the office several hours later, there they were. Two dead birds. The other bird had also been hit by a vehicle as he flew back and forth onto the roadway next to the Love of his Life. It was sad and tragic and impacted me greatly. I realized however, that they would Always be Together. And I wanted a Love like that...

Ho'ola'a...

To Consecrate...

Huaka'i...

On the plains of 'Ewa, there is Kaupe'a. Historical sources cite the area as a place where ghosts who have not been claimed by their 'ohana, their 'aumakua, or who haven't found a leina, or leaping place into the next World, aimlessly wander. There is a leina however, in the area. At One'ula. The Blood or Royal sands. There were coconut trees that grew in alignment with the configuration of constellations up above in the Heavens. Those were unfortunately cut down by the developer in the area.

Some Beautiful and humble gifted friends often help bring Light and Energy down from the Heavens to help those trapped here finally ascend if they are ready to. Sometimes the ancestors board wa'a, or canoes, and the canoes ascend with those ready aboard. Sometimes they use your living body and the Light, Space and Energy you hold for them, as a conduit and portal to Ascend to a higher level of Heaven.

Wave after wave of vibrational energy pulsates through your Being. The only thing you are left with is the Love and Gratitude of the Ancestors as they return to Kahiki.

The great O'ahu Chief Kalanikūpule still wanders the area. I think he has much unfinished business here still.

There is no greater Love and Purpose here other than to give to others. Especially those in need, who without their suffering and hardships, you wouldn't even exist. Aloha kekahi i kekahi. Love One Another...
