I was curious to see what all the hype was about the new McDonald's Lobster Roll sandwich. As I went through the drive-through at a local restaurant, I fortunately found a ten-year old coupon in my wallet for a free "Supersize" upgrade on any menu item. There was no expiration date. So needless to say, after presenting my coupon, debating with the manager for twenty-minutes, one phone call to Corporate Headquarters and one to Corporate Counsel, and my threat to take my business to the nearest Burger King, the manager kindly obliged. It was pretty good. A little hard and crunchy. A little fishy smelling. Not enough mayonnaise packets. But overall, I was pleased...
Rainbows...
One will always be able to describe Rainbows as a meteorological phenomenon caused by reflection, refraction, and dispersion of water droplets during precipitation creating a spectrum of color and light in the form of a circumhorizontal arc in the sky. To me, they will always be Beautiful Magic full of Promise, Hope, Love, Ancestors, Ke Akua and all kinds of Wonderful Things until I die and ride that Awesome color slide across the sky...
