I spent the day in Keaukaha listening to powerful mana'o from our Hawaiian people. Some rightfully angry about the system which never seems to move anything forward as our kupuna die off one by one. Many different views. Some common themes. One thing we could all agree upon. This is our fight. Our time. We will not leave these problems for our children or our grandchildren. It is our generation. The time is now. Or never. For the future...

Elliott's Solo Recital. Some of his violin classmates played incredibly beautiful and intricate violin classical arrangements. Timeless emotional beauty from young spirits. Brought tears to my eyes as emotions welled up. Mankind will continue. There is hope for Redemption in the kindness of the children. Love, light, forgiveness, and beauty will prevail in the end... ps. Note to self. Remember to comb Elliott's hair next time...
