Connections...


Proud of my son, Elliott, for making it to the District Competition with his history project on Henry Opukaha'ia. Many lessons were learned along a very Divine Journey as well as pulling some all-nighters to research and assemble his display. Reflecting on the meanings of sacrifice. He made it to Kamehameha to dance hula this morning and then had to leave to arrive at Chaminade University for the District competition. Important family connections and legacies were re-established, including allowing me, in reverent humble gratitude, to reconnect again with Spirit. Although he didn't advance to the State competition, we both realized that it isn't always the destination in Life, but the learning Journey as well. Henry was with us all the way on this one.
