This is a Spiny-Tailed Agama which are normally found in the deserts of Northern Africa. They eat mostly leaves, blossoms and seeds, from which they are able to extract enough moisture to survive in hot, dry areas, without drinking water. They dig burrows and plug the mouth of burrow with dirt when they are inside to keep moisture inside and keep the burrow cool.
