I made a Beautiful new Friend the other day. Helemanō Lee. He is a Beautiful Kindred Spirit and a Master Kahili maker. When I learned his name, I let him know that I had a special photograph that I wanted to share with, and gift him, and was able to send it yesterday. This photo also has great meaning to me as the connection of Wai'anae with my island of Kaua'i. This shark is above Līhu'e on O'ahu. A very sacred place of high Mana Ali'i. Līhu'e on Kaua'i was named after Līhu'e on O'ahu. The reknown Healing stones in this area on O'ahu were said to have been two female kupua, demi-gods, who flew to O'ahu from Wailuanuiahoano on Kaua'i, another very sacred abode of the ancient Ali'i. There is a Mauna Kapu on Kaua'i and a Mauna Kapu on this range as well. The sacred birthing stones exist here at Kūkaniloko and at Wailuanuiahoano on Kaua'i.
Lastly, my Kaua'i great-great-great-great grandmother, the mother of my great-great-great grandfather, Kalopili Naea, was named singularly, Kamanō. The Shark...
