I was thinking about Life today. About those who seemingly have the easy life. And those who struggle through so much Heartache and hardship. I truly Believe that suffering produces the most intense Soul lessons and growth. I think about the Katana, the Samurai Sword.  There is a Katana in our 'ohana that has been passed down through generations in Japan. In the making of the legendary renown swords, the iron bearing river sand and charcoal are heated in the furnace for days and nights. Then the sword steel is heated, pounded and folded. Over and over again to remove the impurities and strengthen the sword. A long tedious artful and masterful process handed down for centuries. I see us very much akin to the Katana. Some of us get Hammered.  Daily. Not just Physically. Hammered Mentally. Hammered Emotionally. Hammered Spiritually. Some of us even get folded over and over again.
