My diet has been atrocious lately. So I decided to make my own fresh V8 vegetable drink. I picked up Kale, a carrot, garlic, a Brussels sprout and an orange. The orange is a fruit and I don't know what category the garlic is in. So at this point, it was only a V3...
At the last minute, I threw in a quarter piece of a whole onion and a fat slice of zucchini I found in the fridge. And only a few fat cloves of the garlic. Not the whole things of course because then I couldn't see the new Twilight movie for weeks. Then lots of cold water. Now I was back up to a V7 I think...
At least it came out orange colored like the real V8, but without the high sodium they use to preserve the vegetables in the can. It tasted pretty nasty with a slight burning sensation from the onion and garlic I think. It left an aftertaste for about an hour. I will be bone-skinny in no time...
