There have been some new laws and ordinances recently which target the homeless population on O'ahu. Despite the often devastating and draconian implementation of these laws and the horror stories shared about it...there are beautiful members of the Honolulu Police Department who have compassion and empathy, and who take a different approach to the less fortunate. They possess true Aloha. I truly thank you for your kindness...as do the kūpuna, painfully watching their struggling mo'opuna from above...
