The Memorial Services for my friend's beautiful wife began with a Trinity of 'Iwa birds soaring through the windy, rainy and cloudy sky as the morning Light was slowly awoken. After the services and the canoe journey to release her Earthly remains and commit them to the ocean, the two canoes landed upon the shore and a hui of 'iwa birds gathered right above the landing before quickly soaring away in a beautiful affirming Hōʻailona.
