Hanauma Bay...

While flying to Kalaupapa in a tiny plane. I snapped an aerial of Hanauma Bay on O'ahu. It is a protected marine reserve with lots of beautiful colorful reef fish. It is very popular with tourists who want to snorkel and see marine life up close. People used to feed the fish frozen peas to get them to swim up to you. The fish would go into a frenzy. They banned the feeding of the fish however. Now lots of Hawai'i kids have no excuse when caught hiding their peas from their dinner plate in their pocket. It is for the fish at Hanauma Bay, Mom! I swear! At least that was my excuse...
