Once...

Image
Every man should be allowed to put on boots, a cowboy hat, Western shirt and ride a horse down Main Street. It would change your life. Oh yeah. And don't forget the beautiful flower lei for you and your horse...

Lei Princesses...

Image
In case you ever wondered what Lei Princesses look like without having to lay siege on their castle...

Ki'i...

Image
I came home from a pretty awesome day of Hawaiian spirit. This little ki'i came pouring out of my Sketchpad on the computer...

Peace Out...

Image
Double peace out. I don't know. That's my guess...

Po Kalo...

Image
I have started experimenting with computer art and hope to start teaching Koa the tools to be creative...

Wienermobile...

Image
When we went to Foodland, we found the Wienermobile waiting for us. Elliott sizes up to the 27 foot long and 11 foot high RV which can clock 90 miles per hour... Nice classic gull-wing doors like a classic Mercedes... I felt like buying a giant package of bologna... All the latest gadgets including GPS, 8-track tape deck, old Star Trek bridge parts, Waterproof Marine radio from a boat, coin holder and other neat stuff... I could live in this big bad boy. It made us so hungry, we went to Foodland and bought six packages of Armour hot dogs. They were on sale...

Nice...

Image
If I leave my little digital camera lying around the house. I always seem to find extra pictures on it which I didn't take...

Ho'ailona...

Image
I saw some faces in the clouds and they had special meaning for me at the time. Actually, they still do...

Cholesterol...

Image
I ordered a Ham and Cheese omelet at IHOP in Hilo. They don't fool around. Must have been a dozen eggs and two pounds of cheese. After I ate it ALL, I went straight to Hilo Medical Center for an Electrocardiogram on my heart...

Unique...

Image
It was a beautiful day for unique and colorful hair styles at the volcano summit...

Styles...

Some people surf on top of the wave. Some people surf underneath the wave...

Posing...

Image
It was a nice day for turtle posing at Punalu'u on Hawai'i Island...

Almost...

Image
I kind of fell short of my exercise goals this year to make the Kamehameha Float in the Kamehameha Day Parade. Oh well. I'll try again for next year. I'll start my diet again. Tomorrow. And I guess I'll have to join a gym. Or lift rocks on the beach...

Pohaku...

Image
Sometimes I go to 'Ewa and visit one of my kupuna on the shoreline. He gives me advice. And I give him advice. Wear sunscreen. And stay hydrated...

Airborne...

Image
Awesome wave action and surf technique. I call it "Surf Karate"...

Mad...

Image
This 'A'ama crab was really mad. He was foaming at the mouth. And at the legs. And at the armpits. And at the carapace...

Action...

Image
Surf action this morning on the South shore...

Feral...

Image
There is a big cat colony in the boulders at Kaka'ako Park. I saw a large pregnant female slip down a crack between the rocks. This cat cruised around Sunning himself...

Surf's Up...

Image
The South shore was pumping today off of Incinerators and Point Panic...

Morning...

Image
This morning, people went surfing before they headed to work. How cool is that?

Choices...

Image
If I had to be a fish. I would be a Kissing Gourami. Or maybe a kissing goldfish. Kissing Siamese Fighting Fish? Kissing Koi? You get the idea...

Hali'a Aloha...

Image
The loving memory...

Kilo...

Image
Some people watch for waves in life. Some people watch for sharks...

Patience...

Image
I made what I thought was a simple scene in Bryce 3D and let it render. It took over 20 hours. I had to leave the computer on for two days. I like to create but I don't know if I have enough time in life for this kind of computer art. Maybe I will go back to oils and acrylic...

Hot Tub...

Image
When you are sick and feeling under the weather. You need a nice long soak in a hot tub of Ramen...

Amazing...

Image
Some offerings, or ho'okupu, left at Halema'uma'u, Kilauea, Moku o Keawe. I had a stress filled day but it was amazing when I look back. Spiritual growth has been accelerated in the last few days. After I started reading Angels In My Hair by Lorna Byrne. So many ho'ailona. So many signs. Affirmations. Challenges. Opportunities. And quite possibly the strongest message from the other side on the importance of living life to the fullest everyday. So much to accomplish. So painfully aware of my own mortality...
