Po'o Kanaka...

The heiau Punalu'u Nui on Moku o Keawe. It was po'o kanaka class. A luakini for human sacrifice. When the adjacent wharf was being built, a large pit, or lua, was found with many human skeletal remains. The iwi of our beloved kupuna mohai. Those ancestors who were sacrificed at Kahi Holo. The adjacent sacrificial boulder still greasy with human blood and oils. I don't honor the sacrificial pohaku. I honor the grease and oil of my kupuna...
