Sustenance for my Soul...

When I eat dried aku and poi, it tastes more than delicious. Like satiating a taste in my soul acquired 600 years ago. It keeps me from eating fast food. Although I imagine akule swim pretty darn fast too. I commend the aku fisherman. Day in. Day out. I don't have a boat. I couldn't catch akule if my life depended upon it. To all the kanaka out there, perpetuating this tradition, I truly aloha you. You can catch akule. And my life depends upon it...
