I remember holding you on my chest. Putting you to sleep with my breathing and heartbeat in the lazyboy lounger. Watching your little sleeping face for hours. Astonished at my perfect world. I used to look at you and see my little baby. Now I look at you and it is getting harder to see the baby you were. And easier to see the emerging man you are. Bittersweet indeed...

aw man- what a young man you have there indeed. Also reading this a day before my youngest son turns 5... so of course I welled up with tears too...
Mahalo for sharing Crystal...I think when I squeeze him and hold him...it suspends time and he doesn't age until I let him go... :)
