Power...

Often we end up dismayed at the political power struggles that go on right before our eyes, and more often than not, behind the scenes and behind closed doors as deals are brokered and traded in exchange for promises of more authority, more money, or more powerful positions in Life.

Hawaiian society was made up of a hierarchy, a political system, but just as equally important was the Spiritual side. The kino, the body, and the wailua, the Spirit. Līloa gave his son Hākau the politics. He gave his son, 'Umi, the care of the gods. Kalaniopu'u gave his son, Kīwalaʻō, the politics. He gave Kamehameha, the care of the gods. Kamehameha, when passing, bequeathed the politics to his sacred son, Liholiho. To Kekuaokalani, the care of the gods.

Too much attention is put on the perceived political power today. When you understand where the Spiritual Power of this Life truly reigns, in the Heavens, you know where the real power in this World resides. As does the kukui tree. The enlightenment...

This Capitol does not belong to the government. It belongs solely to the People. And Spirit shall Reign Supreme...
