Life...
Native Hawaiians have a wise saying, "I ka 'ōlelo nō ke ola, i ka 'ōlelo nō ka make." In the language there is life, in the language there is death. I often think about Dr. Masaru Emoto's famous experiments with water crystals, whereby positive and loving words can form beautiful symetrical water crystals which often look like the most beautiful and delicate of snowflakes. Negative and hurtful language produces water crystals which are often obliterated, unstructured, and malformed.
People familiar with his work, often note that the human body is composed primarily of water. They also note that some of the most powerful positive forces in Dr. Emoto's work, center around "gratitude" and "humility" as two of the most powerfully trans-formative words.
My beloved ancestors knew this, the power in the word, and the very important Hawaiian value of ha'aha'a, which means: low, lowly, minimum, humble, degraded, meek, unpretentious, modest, unassuming, unobtrusive; lowness, humility.
A Life filled with humility, gratitude and Love, is truly a most Powerful Life indeed...
