Dance advocates played their music at the Capitol Rotunda and danced away. They are trying to get the Legislature to rectify a Maui Liquor Commission issue which prevents dancing in bars without a proper permit by the establishment and a designated dance floor. It has been a nine-year struggle. Jiva Jive and his beautiful friends broke out in dance to give good energy to those legislators trying to solve the problem. They weren't just dancing by themselves.
