Water Spirit...

Whenever I fly to Maui, I always make it a tradition to go straight to 'Iao Valley and pay my respects to the profound Ali'i buried there, and to reflect upon the historic battle of Kepaniwai. I pray for the many Souls who "damned" the river with their bodies after the slaughter. While many Spirits have ascended since then, there are still many who still reside there.
