This conch shell is purported to be the legendary magical thunderous Kihapu shell which was guarded at Hokuwelowelo Heiau in Waipi'o Valley on Hawai'i Island until the dog Puapualenalena absconded with it. It could be blown during times of war and battles and thunder for miles. I have my own Kihapu. And I will be unleashing her spirit today. And she does shake the ground. And rumble your na'au. Tuesday was one of those days. Up at 3:00 a.m. with 2.5 hours of sleep. A full exhausting day of profound spirit and Aloha. So many blessings. So much Aloha. So much spirit. I couldn't thank the kupuna enough. Ke Akua knew what I needed. On the way home...I stopped the car to give thanks for the blessings and gifts which present themselves in the multitude of soft tiny kisses and huge warm hugs...
