Mālama pūʻolo...


The boys contemplate meeting their great-grandfather for the first time and offering him a beautiful lei generated for the raising of the four ki'i akua, Kāne, Lono, Kanaloa and , at Kāneiolouma Heiau the day before. We contemplated burying their grandmother with her father in the near future. Her iwi, or bones, are bundled at home, in our living room on O'ahu, awaiting the day she returns to Kaua'i.
