Halema'uma'u Crater...

So Kilauea Volcano had an exploding sulfur vent in the crater wall the other day. First time since the last explosion in 1924. Pretty cool. Pele is cranking up for something. Not sure what. Enough sulfur dioxide gas spewing out to fill 150 Goodyear blimps everyday according to the Volcano geologists. Not so cool. The stuff is colorless and can damage heart and lungs. Dad risked exposure to get me some cool photos. Now that is love. If the wind shifts. Hawai'i County Civil Defense will evacuate Volcano Village. I'm making room for Mom and Dad already...
