Reminders...


I see this black cloth covered fire hydrant, or whatever it is, on my morning drive to work. It reminds me of the Iraqi prisoners at Abu Ghraib prison being tortured with the black hoods on their heads. It also reminds me of the poor hostages kidnapped and kneeling before a final gruesome act. Sometimes intense visuals never leave our heads. Other times we are meant to remember such things and not easily forget senseless death. There are little reminders all over the place for our benefit. We just need to recognize the signs...
