Love...

I found this alert and watchful lizard perched on top of a little baby garden statue. A little baby with wings and vines for clothes. Most people mistakenly call this little baby a Cherub. But a Cherub is a larger type of angel. This naked baby with wings is a Putto, commonly found in Italian Renaissance art. The most common form of a Putto today is Cupid. The Roman mythological version of the Greek God Eros. Love. Romance.  A Cherub. A Putto. Cupid. Eros. Whatever... This lizard, my mo'o guardian, doesn't really care what we call it. I call it Love. And it pierces my heart and soul everyday with arrows. Day and night. And boy does it feel good. I just break off the shaft and leave the arrowheads buried inside...
