Pono Punishment...

Koa asked why the lobster and crab both had their claws bound when it was obvious they were put together in the tank at Foodland for an ultimate fight to the death. I explained that just because they are different species doesn't mean they would automatically want to kill each other. In fact, both being in the same predicament would more likely make them forget their differences and focus on the common enemy. Man. I explained that their claws were bound so they couldn't hurt themselves or take their own life. When you are on deathrow, you are prevented from harming yourself or taking your own life so those good and righteous people in power can have the privilege of taking your life from you. To show that murder is more righteous, more pono, than suicide...
